Pridex supports top swimmer

Tash Hind is 23 years old and a full-time athlete. She has been competing in both swimming and surf since 1996. She has represented New Zealand at two Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and World Championships. She holds a number of local and national records and titles. She is studying part-time for a BSc at Massey University and at weekends teaches young children to swim. Her dream is to gain selection for the 2016 Olympics in Rio, Brazil.
At present there is a lack of funding for swimming in New Zealand and support for many of our top swimmers has been cut, so Tash has come to us for sponsorship.
As parents of three very talented athletes, we know how much time, effort and cost goes into training to reach high-performance level, especially when combined with tertiary studies. We are happy to help Tash bridge the gap until Swimming New Zealand receives government funding again. Watch this space for updates on her training and racing progress!
